| Item Description: | The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, pursuant to Article 68(4) of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), done at Washington on June 19, 1970, amended on September 28, 1979, modified on February 3, 1984, and on October 3, 2001, has the honor to transmit herewith certified copies, in English and in French, of the amendments to the Regulations under the PCT, with effect from July 1, 2018, adopted on October 11, 2017, by the Assembly of the International Patent Cooperation Union (PCT Union), at its Forty-Ninth (21th Ordinary) session, held in Geneva from October 2 to 11, 2017. El Director General de la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual (OMPI) saluda atentamente al Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores y, de conformidad con el Artículo 68(4) del Tratado de Cooperación en materia de Patentes (PCT), hecho en Washington el 19 de junio de 1970, modificado el 28 de septiembre de 1979, modificado el 3 de febrero de 1984 y el 3 de octubre de 2001, tiene el honor de transmitir adjunto copias certificadas, en francés e inglés, de las enmiendas al Reglamento del PCT, con efecto a partir del 1 de julio de 2018, adoptada el 11 de octubre de 2017 por la Asamblea de la Unión Internacional de Cooperación en Materia de Patentes (Unión PCT), en su cuadragésima novena sesión (21ª ordinaria), celebrada en Ginebra del 2 al 11 de octubre de 2017. |
