|a This study about the learning styles in the English acquisition as a foreign language was effected with third grade students at Pedro Joaquin Chamorro School, Siuna municipality, RACCN Nicaragua. Its purpose was to identify the styles in which learners acquire the information better and the different strategies that the teacher usually uses to deal with their likes; also, to consider the implemented resources that for some circumstances were not fruitful and propose them with a different approach. This research was developed under the qualitative paradigm, with a descriptive phenomenological approach and descriptive depth level. For data collection, techniques such as: observation guide, test and semi-structured interview were applied. These techniques allowed to find six learning styles: visual, auditory, reading and writing, kinesthetic, social and solitary. These learning styles were linked to the student's behavior and reaction towards their learning preferences. Actually, the professor tends to implement different resources to create methodological strategies that motivate children. Among them, flashcards are the most representative as students listen and repeat, and are easily complemented with warm-ups like songs or dynamics that help create an inspiring place. Therefore, it is proposed some methodological strategies or varied activities games like: Bingo, hangman, change place, flashcards, magic eyes, say first; all of them make students develop a positive perception on learning and facilitate the teacher's work.
