Sumario:This research describes the findings of a previous study on the effect of high school teachers´ methodology on the development of the speaking skill by the students. This study focused on explain different surveys to the participants to find out if students are developing the speaking skill. The results shows that methodologies that are used by the teacher in the classroom are not adequate to develop students' speech ability so positive results are not being obtained in the classroom. On the other hand, the scene in which the students develop does not provide the conditions for putting into practice what they have learned in the English class
