Sumario: | This study aims to investigate the impact of teacher's feedback on student's oral proficiency through. This research was carried out in Augusto Salinas Pinell secondary school in Somoto-Madriz; the participants were an English teacher and forty-seven students (twenty females and twenty-seven males).; With the purpose to manage the objective of this research, it is carried out a qualitative research, using data collecting methods such as questionnaire and observation guide. Results showed that the English teacher uses feedback strategies but she uses these feedback strategies unconsciously because she does not have any training about providing effective feedback and even with that condition the English teacher gets a good result from students because they are integrated in class, participating and improving continuously their learning process. It is recommended to know how to provide an effective feedback, because depending of what strategies the English teacher uses and how those strategies are applied, a result will be get and this result could be positive as negative.
