Sumario:This research was carried out with the purpose of analyzing how the amount of teacher; talking time influences on young learners' learning process of English at Divine Mercy; Bilingual School. The main goal of this study was to propose and implement Task Based; learning activities that can increase students talking time in the classroom and analyze the; effects they have on young learners' acquisition of the language to determine whether the; strategies were appropriate or not to increase the amount of their talk. The sampling selected; was a classroom consisted of twenty of twenty students; semi-structured interviews and; observations guide were conducted in order to gather information. This study compared and; analyzed previous studies found out about the topic of study. Similarly, it compared the; literature about Task-based learning approach with the information collected through the; instrument employed. Finally, this paper discussed the results obtained through the; implementation of the TBL activities.
